Minor Hockey will commence Sept 25 thru March 22!

Please remember your child must be registered in Hockey Alberta, 1/2 Fees paid and Respect in Sport completed prior to going on the ice. We will not be accepting payment at the first practice. Please mail cheque or money order to box 281 or deliver it to Tara or Pam prior to Sept 24th for your child to be placed on the roster!
This season we are starting with a pre season schedule as our league teams are required to play 4 tiering games Sept 30-Oct14. Please review the schedule to see when your child starts

No hockey on stat holidays Oct 9, November 13, February 19
No hockey during Christmas Break Dec 22 - Jan 5 unless pre- approved by the executive.
Coaching and Volunteer applications must be submitted asap.
If you are interested in coaching or assisting please visit www.grandecachehockey.com click the coach,parent, player tab and complete the application. It will automatically be sent to coachdirector@grandecachehockey.com for review.
Once your coach or practice assistant application has been accepted, you will be notified of what steps you need to take next practice assistant; Criminal Record/Vulnerable Sector screening, Respect in Sport Leader and to be a coach you also need to receive your appropriate level of Hockey Alberta certification by November 15th that will be reimbursed upon successful completion by GCMHA.

Annual General Meeting Wed Sept 27th 7pm Curling lounge
Mandatory Team Meetings will take place Oct 2 -13 your managers will advise.
Grizzly Falls Photography will take team/individual photos Tuesday October 24th packages will be on display at team meetings, more information will be sent out by managers in October.
Fundraising Little Caesar Pizza Order forms will be handed out during the team meetings and due Oct 30th each play must sell $60 worth to be delivered Nov 14th.
Fundraising GCMHA 3rd Annual Score at Home Raffle on sale Oct till Nov 4th Draw Monday November 6th @ 7:00pm Grande Cache Recreation Centre. All families are expected to sell 20tickets per player.

Initiation division has good registration numbers so far however coaches, practice assistants and a team manager are needed.
Novice division has good registration numbers and could use another coach or practice assistant.
Atom division has good registration number and could use a couple more coaches or practice assistants.
Female/Girls division is being looked at for 2 different age groups needs a couple of coaches and practice assistants.
Peewee division registration numbers are low but enough for a team, could use another coach or practice assistant.
Bantam division registration numbers are low but enough for a team coach compliment is full.
Midget division has good registration numbers and could use a couple more coaches and/or practice assistants.
Grande Cache Minor Hockey is seeking Referees 13yrs or older, we are hosting a clinic Oct 21st.

The Bauer Flex Bubble Team Jacket is a warm yet lightweight option for a middle layer in Bauer's new Flex system.
